Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account information: username, email address, and a hashed password when you create an account.
• Gameplay data: saved games, match results, in-game statistics, settings, and membership status.
• Guest sessions: an anonymous identifier stored in your browser so a guest can keep a saved game.
• Email subscription: your email address, the page you subscribed from, and your confirmation status, if you join our mailing list.
• Payment information: handled entirely by Paddle, our merchant of record. We receive confirmation of your purchase, your Paddle customer ID, and the email associated with it. We never receive or store your full card number.
• Technical and analytics data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, game events (such as a match starting or ending), approximate location derived from IP, and error reports. We use Google Analytics 4 and Sentry for this.
• Support messages: what you send us when you contact support.

2. How we use it

To run the Service and save your progress; to process Membership through Paddle; to send transactional email (account confirmation, password reset, receipts); to send marketing email only if you opted in, with an unsubscribe link in every message; to understand how the Game is played and improve it; to detect cheating, abuse, and errors; and to comply with law.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you logged in and store guest saves and your consent choice. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are set only after you accept them in the consent bar. You can withdraw consent at any time from the site footer.

4. Who we share it with

Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract: Paddle (payments and tax), our database and hosting provider, Resend (transactional and marketing email), Google (analytics), and Sentry (error reporting). We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users or the public. We do not sell personal information, and we do not show third-party advertising inside the Game.

5. Data retention

Account and gameplay data are kept while your account is active. Delete your account from the Account page and we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax, accounting, or legal reasons. Guest data is kept in your browser and is removed when you clear it. Analytics data is retained per Google's settings.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Email support@meridiancommandpro.com and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

8. International users

We are based in the United States and process data there. If you use the Service from outside the US, you understand your data is transferred to and processed in the US.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections and hashed passwords. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you as required by law.

10. Changes

We will post updates here with a new "Last updated" date and notify account holders of material changes.
