Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Meridian Command (the "Game") and the website meridiancommandpro.com (together, the "Service"), operated by Cosmo Star Labs LLC, a Virginia limited liability company ("Cosmo Star Labs," "we," "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
2. Accounts
You may play as a guest or create an account with a username, email address, and password. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. The free service and membership
Core gameplay is free. An optional paid membership ("Membership") unlocks additional features described on the Pricing page. Membership is billed as a recurring subscription (monthly or annual) until canceled. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), which acts as merchant of record. Paddle handles all order processing, billing, and tax; your purchase is subject to Paddle's checkout terms in addition to these Terms. Prices are shown before you buy and may change for future billing periods with notice; a founding-member price is honored for as long as that membership remains continuously active.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel Membership at any time from your Account page or through Paddle's customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
5. License and ownership
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own entertainment. The Game, its code, art, names, characters, and design are owned by Cosmo Star Labs or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property law. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by law. You may stream, record, and share gameplay footage, including for monetized channels.
6. Acceptable use
Do not cheat, exploit bugs to gain advantage over other players, attack or overload the Service, scrape it, use bots, impersonate others, or use the Service for anything unlawful. Usernames must not be offensive, impersonating, or infringing.
7. User content
If the Service lets you submit content (usernames, feedback, map names, messages), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use it to operate and promote the Service. Feedback you send may be used without obligation to you.
8. Availability and changes
The Game is in active development. Features, balance, saved games, and content may change, be reset, or be removed. We try to avoid losing saved progress but do not guarantee it. We may suspend the Service for maintenance or discontinue it; if we discontinue paid Membership, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid period.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cosmo Star Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or US $50.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Cosmo Star Labs against claims arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from the Account page. We may terminate or suspend access for violations of these Terms. Sections 5, 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify account holders by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
